Jesus contrasts those who are his disciples with those that are not (the pagans). Why should a disciple react differently to worry than a non-disciple?
Because disciples know that they can hand their worry over to Jesus and let him carry the burden for them. Non disciples do not know that and they carry around their worries letting it consum their lives.

A disciple SHOULD not be consumed with worry.... but as disciples we just keep learning & hopefully getting better with time :)
