Radical Obedience:
Share with the group in what way will you be “radically” obedient this week to the command: Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.” (Matthew 28:9-10 ESV)
Some suggestions are listed below:
1. Make a list of things you are afraid of. Then, ask Jesus to take away your fear.
2. Go to another “follower of Jesus” and encourage them to not be afraid.
3. Go with other disciples to your “Galilee” so you can see Jesus. “Galilee” was a geographic location outside of Jerusalem, or the place people thought worship happened. It is also a metaphor for going to the places Jesus already is. Discuss where those places are and how you can take a step to go there and see him. (Read Matthew 25:31-46 for ideas of where Jesus can be found.)

Our Galileeis everywhere, because Jesus is everywhere and in everything and we should look for the good in everyone and everything as Jesus would want us to.

I know what I am afraid of... fear of losing those I love... It is something that I am thinking of often because of the events of last week. So, as I think of this I am praying that I will recognize that even in the midst of the deepest tragedy, God is enough.
