  1. Jessica:

Right now I am feeling anxious about my LASIK procedure Friday! A little fearful since like any surgery there are risk. I know God will help me through it. Other times I get anxious is when I have too much to do and not enough time. My OCD gets the best of my sometimes. I haven't been sad in a long time. When I think about Isaac growing up it makes me sad.

    Eric:
My biggest source of anxiety is when there are issues with the guys I work with offshore and trying to help them from land by phone. The helpless feeling of not being there with them and being able to see first hand what is going on drives me crazy. Second biggest is any presentation made in a formal setting where they have to introduce you and give you a lapel mic. Biggest fear, sudden loss of loved one, specifically Jessica or Isaac for sure.

  2. Jessica,
I hope your LASIK went really well. Surgery does make me very anxious. I feel like I have been surrounded by all three of these feelings almost constantly since Thursday.

Klint & I spent the weekend in Austin with my sister and brother in law. We found out just before leaving our kids with Klint's parents for the weekend that two of Lindsay's (sister) close friends in college had lost both their three year old son and his mother in a car accident on Thursday.

It is one of those tragedies that makes you unable to sleep... You keep waking up so sad and thinking... "this cannot be real."

Losing one of my children is my greatest fear. I know that God is able to help them them up off of the floor and will be their source of strength. I am not sure how they are even breathing right now. Please pray that God will lift George and Sarah into His arms in the days to come. Please pray specifically for their marriage and that God will be glorified. He is able.
